Selecting the right mover is critical to a successful move, as not all carriers provide all the services you may want or require. Here are several important steps in selecting the right carrier. Identify The Best Carriers Based on your specific needs, identify the carriers that provide the required services. Conducting telephone conversations with the carriers and reviewing their marketing information can be useful resources. Checking with the state's consumer protection department is another advisable step that can help to identify known poor service providers. Your Move Coordinator will work with you to select a carrier (or carriers) for your move based upon origin and destination locations, the timing of your move, and any special needs or requests you may have. This meeting allows you to get an additional level of comfort about the mover, and allows the representative to make a physical survey of items to be packed and moved.
